Some of the main nominees considered by the academy this year were Barbie, Oppenheimer, Maestro, Killers of the Flower Moon, Poor Things, and Anatomy of a Fall. Although one stood out among the rest which was…Oppenheimer which was awarded seven Oscars in total including the title of best picture and cinematography!

Although, Oppenheimer’s rival in the box office Barbie also won in one of its eight nominations for original song “What Was I Made For” by Billie Eilish which she performed alongside her brother Finneas. All nominees were outstanding in their parts as well and should also be given a shout out. Alongside all the guests and nominees was shown appreciation to the staff working behind the scenes for their efforts to ensure the perfect effects for both the performances and acceptances of the Oscars. .

With all these awards given out someone must set the scene for them and there were many chosen to present these honorable achievements, according to radiotimes.com, “some of the people that presented some of the Oscars during the night were Steven Spielberg, Al Pacino, Ariana Grande, Ryan Gosling, Zendaya, and John Mulaney.” Some presentations being more enticing and some being more scripted.

The Oscars can be watched on Hulu according to cbsnews.com. Although it may seem long the performances are worth watching, it is over three hours long! Originally it was hosted on Sunday, March 10th  and as the night ended so did the 96th Academy Awards ceremony.
